Teens For Christ Bangladesh became a reality in June 2008. After six months of training with TFC-Kenya, the Executive Director of TFC-Bangladesh returned to his country and capital city of Dhaka, along with the Director of Operations.
Dhaka has a population of over 12 million people, making it the largest city in Bangladesh. The work continued to grow as a pastor was trained during January and February 2009 to take the work to Gopalganj. Gopalganj is a district in the Dhaka division of Bangladesh. The district has about 1.1 million inhabitants. The ministry also grew into the Savar district in the Dhaka division where there are 5 chapters running.
Since 2009, the ministry has expanded to the Khulna division in the southwest, the Rajshahi division in the northwest, and the Chittagang division in the southeast.
In 2012, Teens for Christ Bangladesh expanded outside the national borders. Men from Nepal and the Kolkata district of India came to Dhaka to train. In August of 2012, Teens For Christ officially launched in India and Nepal.
