INTERNATIONAL

The Vision

In 2004, God opened the door for a young man from Kenya to travel to Lima OH and train as a  Teens For Christ intern.  After nine months of training in the 2004-2005 school year, he returned to Kenya and launched our first international chapter in 2005. Today, TFC Kenya is the largest teen ministry in that country - reaching over 250,000 students each week.  With adequate resources, our team in Kenya believes we can reach 500,000 students (a half of a million!) every single week in that country alone!
Since our first international chapter launched, we have also trained leaders in three major regions around the world:
Middle East:  Lebanon
Asia: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Philippines
Africa: Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Senegal., Gambia, and Tanzania
As of June 2022, we are operational in 14 countries outside of the USA.  Every country is different and every chapter is different.  In some countries, TFC leaders have open access in the school day to minister to every student during a school assembly.  In other countries, TFC chapters have to be held in homes or churches with open sharing of the Gospel prohibited by law.  In each case, our dedicated staff and volunteers proclaim Jesus Christ as the only hope to lost and hurting world.  When God gave TFC the vision of "developing an army to impact the world for Jesus Christ", we had no idea what that would look like or how God would bring this to fruition.
Every step of the way, we trust God to lead us to the right people in the right places for the ministry He wants us to do.  And, we trust Him to provide every resource - financial, spiritual, administrative, and relational.  To God be the Glory!
